Hamish is a Manager in Frontier’s Dublin office. Hamish advises private companies, governments and regulators across an array of regulatory and competition economics issues. Hamish’s work spans numerous sectors from energy and water, to telecoms, post and the digital economy.
Hamish has helped companies across numerous sectors to influence regulatory decisions and policy design. Examples of Hamish’s recent work includes advising on tariff design and implementation, cost modelling, benchmarking and cost of capital. For our commercial clients, Hamish regularly advises on investment appraisal, cost-benefit analysis and strategic support.
Hamish work in the digital economy includes a report on Brexit’s impact on the Irish digital sector, the impact of personalised pricing in the UK’s essential markets, and digital disruption in Ireland’s delivery service market.
Hamish previously worked for the New Zealand Commerce Commission as a Senior Economist with extensive regulatory and competition experience.
