Frontier speaks on the Future of Heat at the Energy UK Annual Conference in London

Sarah Deasley, Director in Frontier’s Energy practice, today spoke on a panel discussing the Future of Heat at the Energy UK Annual conference in London. Energy UK is an association representing Britain’s energy industry with over 90 members covering electricity and gas generators as well as suppliers. The Energy UK Annual Conference brings together leading politicians, industry figures, consumer groups and stakeholders to discuss the topics that are most important to the industry.

The theme for this year’s conference was “transformation” as the energy industry undergoes the transition to a low carbon system that puts customers in control. Sarah spoke at the session “What does the future look like for heat in 2050?” The discussion covered the big policy challenges associated with decarbonising the heat sector, the current level of uncertainty associated with this transition and the importance of engaging the public with the solution.

Frontier regularly advises clients on issues relating to decarbonisation in the energy sector.
