Fernando advises clients in the transport and water sectors in in matters of regulation, competition and economic policy. He regularly assists companies with the elaboration of responses to price determinations and government consultations, and works with regulators and other public bodies in the design and evaluation of numerous policies. He is experienced in quantitative analysis, including econometrics and microeconomic modelling.
Before joining Frontier, Fernando worked as an economics consultant in London and as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Mathematical Economics in Bielefeld, Germany. Fernando holds a masters degree from the Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he trained in microeconomics, industrial organization and game theory.
