Hamish Forsyth

Hamish works as a Manager in Frontier’s Dublin office. Hamish advises clients across an array of regulatory and competition economics issues, from energy and water, to telecoms and post.

Recently, Hamish has undertaken benchmarking work for large utility companies, including in the electricity, gas and water sectors. He has also assessed total societal costs from incrementally more renewable energy produced via competing renewable generation sources, and evaluated the likely impact on consumers and taxpayers. Hamish has also managed projects for a national regulator including a study of the packets and parcel sector in Ireland and reviewing the market incumbent’s cost obligations and regulatory reporting obligations.

Hamish has previously worked for the New Zealand Commerce Commission as a Senior Economist with extensive regulatory and competition experience.
