Abbas recently joined Frontier’s Energy practice and advises clients using a range of analytical techniques including financial modelling, econometric analysis, and cost of capital estimation. He has most recently been engaged in providing clients with electricity market due diligence and transactional support in various European markets.
Prior to joining Frontier, Abbas worked at London Economics International (LEI) in the United States. At LEI, he worked as an energy consultant with a particular focus on electricity markets advising private sector clients, market institutions, and the government on asset valuation, market power, and strategy in energy markets across North and South America. Prior to LEI, Abbas worked for Cornerstone Research, providing economic and financial analysis in commercial disputes and litigation proceedings on behalf of a wide range of clients.
Abbas graduated from Yale University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics, and completed an MPA in International Finance and Economics at Columbia University.
