Evaluating the social impact of the charity sector

Frontier’s work helps charities demonstrate the positive impact they make with donations and public subsidies. We evaluate the benefits that charities bring to society through Social Impact Evaluations. We do this not only looking at the direct monetary gains, but going beyond this to explore wellbeing, future potential, avoided costs and the wider impact to society. Weighing these benefits against the costs, we are able to show the effectiveness of charities’ work.

Case study: Whizz-Kidz Whizz-Kidz provides disabled children with the essential wheelchairs and other mobility equipment they need to reach their true potential and live their lives to the full. On behalf of the charity we evaluated the Whizz-Kidz parental support pilot project to implement the special education needs and disability reforms introduced by the UK government.

We’re absolutely delighted with Frontier’s report. This project involved collaboration from across Whizz-Kidz, and the report has drawn all those different strands together in a really concise and compelling way.
